His expertise and client portfolio focuses on Navy shipbuilding, industrial base policy, and maritime technologies. Geographically, Jeremy has deep experience with the key defense industries and political environments of the Midwest, especially Wisconsin and Michigan.

Prior to joining SMI, Jeremy worked on Capitol Hill for a decade, most recently serving as National Security Advisor and Director of Appropriations to Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), a Member of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense. He also worked as a Senior Policy Advisor to former Congressman Sandy Levin (D-MI) and as a Legislative Aide to former Senator Carl Levin (D-MI), the then-Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
